Two students from St. Ignatius College who are interested in pursuing a career in biomedical science recently had the opportunity to spend some time with engineers at AAT Research.
Accompanied by their guidance counsellor, the students were able to ask questions about the academic and career pathways that would allow them to pursue a career in biomedical engineering and opportunities in the field.
AAT’s engineers, with experience across the biomedical field, described study and career pathways, what qualifications are required and tertiary level options.
They also spoke about the various projects that they are working on at present.
The students were taken on a tour of AAT’s premises and laboratories.
