Hi-tech Research Facilities
We pride ourselves on performing quality research, be it for our own in-house use, as part of collaborations or for third parties. Our labs form a vital part of that ethic.
This laboratory is used to perform objective tests of hearing function however these tests help to diagnose problems associated with the Auditory Pathway. Tests performed in this lab include: Otoacoustic emission (OAE) measures; Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR); Middle Latency Response (MLR) and the temporal lobe and Auditory Late latency responses (ALR).
This laboratory carries out subjective hearing tests. Pure tone Audiometry (PTA) is the main hearing test used to identify an individual’s hearing threshold and therefore evaluate the degree and type of hearing loss. Variations of this test can be used to test children at a young age.
Our high-density electroencephalography (HD-EEG) lab houses high-end equipment and devices that enable us to perform clinical HD-EEG sessions and collect valuable electrophysiological data for research and clinical purposes.
Our Biomedical Studio uses high-end technology to record test subjects and provide readings of their vital, physiological and emotional responses for research purposes, delivering useful insights.
Gait Analysis Laboratory
Our Gait Analysis Lab will house sensitive equipment that can gather priceless information regarding human locomotion and gait. This further expands the company’s research facilities and areas of investigation.
